I was struck by how similar the predicted scores across the league for the first round were on Sleeper.
Having said that, both my TE (for which I have no back-up) and kicker are doubtful for the first round, which will likely screw me.

Last year it was noticeable how quickly things can change. Players pulling really low scores or getting injured and you’re stuffed

I mean his team did beat Mahommes’ Chief to win the Superbowl 18 months ago, so he can’t be too bad.
Hurts with a new OC so not sure. Mediocre arm but good with his legs. Can squat 600lbs

I would say that the game is far more dependent on making moves than some others. There’s likely 64+ WRs getting decent game time. How they score can be dependent on matchups (Wim, the colour on the lineup page suggests good vs bad matchups for your players), and players can become good out of nowhere (eg a WR all of a sudden has a QB who can find them, because the QBs left tackle is good this year), and also there can be very high variance players. (One player who relies on deep catches or runs breaking out for big yards vs players who just chew away a couple of yards at a time). This variance can be massively impactful week to week, and can vary depending on matchups, or injuries to other pieces in the puzzle. So tracking all of that and making changes can really help. Although not as much as luck

Tip: the injury reports are pretty strict, and updated fairly accurately. You can set individual bench players as the sub for an individual player who is in doubt. Ie you can go to your bench and assign (say) Thomas as the injury replacement for Flowers if they are a late out.

Nah not all locked at once. Only locked when their individual team plays.
So the Seahawks vs Pats players will be locked as of now, the players on the 30 other teams can still be moved around.

The fluctuations are scary as. Not so long ago, I was behind on predicted score.
My heavy hitters aren’t hitting. Won’t be panicking in week 1 but its concerning
