#19 Nick Hind

He will play and play well in my opinion.

Type of player that only needs a few touches to change the momentum of a game.

Wont be a world beater but can most certainly play a role.

The white jarod atkinson.

Looks ripped and is set for a rd1 start, a missed opportunity for us no matter which way you try to spin it.

Yep.

At the very least would have been good backup for Saad or McKenna.

Yep, love how heā€™s suddenly no good

Still would have a lot of development imo. He will be a player I reckon

Will fit in well at ShitKilda, a racehorse amongst the plodders.
Hope he does well, heā€™s a nice bloke.
Was never going to come to us, no place for him.

He is exciting to watch and makes things happen, looking forward to seeing him in the big league.

If there is any truth to the McKenna OP rumours then maybe there is a place for somebody like Hind.

Time will tell I guess.

Its so Blitz

In the case mckenna has problems McGrath will slot in seamlessly as a running halfback, but rotating through the midfield, probably in tandem with iceman

McGrath has shown very little ability to break lines just yet.

He has the capacity to do it but so far he has been used far more in lock down roles.

Harsh.
He was 4th for bounces for EFC this year. More than Tippa or Zerrett or Zaha.

True, but he has cast off the shackles at times during the preseason and it seems likely that he will play more of a running role in 2019

Either way would rather see Ridley deployed in that situation.
Different style of player off half back/wing. Nowhere near the pace. But will be a much better, more complete player than Hind.

If we are absolutely desparate for a bit of pace, we have Tippa, McGrath, Zerrett we can throw there for bursts.

Ham in the pipeline, albeit a few years down the track.

How was he for meters gained?

I cant seem to find that stat.

Not good. 17th on average.
Doesnā€™t back himself to kick nearly enough.

I think the tide will turn pretty quick with that though.

He strikes me as being pretty self motivated.

Hope Hind does well, heā€™d be about the only one at that faeces-stain of a club.

Besides, we have too many players of his type.

White people.

Yes, maybe a bit too concerned with not doing the wrong thing by the team by making a mistake.

Happy for Hind and hope he does well at St Kilda, but donā€™t feel like we missed one there. Anyone who thinks we did has to think he will have a better career than Mozzie given that heā€™s the only pick we had before St. Kilda drafted him with pick 56.

For us he wouldā€™ve been pace depth, basically another Colyer.
