complete 50/50
will come out firing and blow eagles away and be taken home by crowd
or will go down by 12 points in the first, go into essington mode and lose by 30 points
have a feeling some young player will have a break out game.

Brave predictions.
I havenāt heard many Media people give us a chance. I think were in it, but so much relies on what kind of West Coast turn up
The media have ā ā ā ā ā ā ā torched us the last 4 years. ā ā ā ā them and what they think
I would feel more confident about winning if Hooker lined up on Kennedy.
Wooshas sensible selections are back!
fair enough. The bookies also agree with them. It sounds like it would be a big upset if we get up. I personally wouldnāt be surprised if we win, but so much needs to go right
We need to play with an intensity and ferocity that there not prepared forā¦and itās starts and ends from the first to last siren!!!
We need to be able to play the smaller ground
Razzle Dazzle to kick 7.
Weāll win.
we did that last week. the problem still remains if we make poor choices and bad skill, an inform team will bury us, which is why no changes is a big mistake imo cos last week was far from what youād want (offensively only) as the benchmark to be performed every week.
I hope Iām wrong or at the very least we donāt make as many mistakes as we did even last week, but even WC in melbourne if we turn it over as much as last week, they will destroy us.
Only if you go for a smoke or a ā ā ā ā every 10 minutes.
You make me smile dkp
Nah, you only get one a game, you have to be strategic about it.
We will win if we pressure their midfield enough to create turn overs.
Clearances are still the main issue, so when we win the ball back-we have to be 10 times cleaner than we were there against Melbourne.
No changes hopefully means a bit more synergy.
Myers to play more midfield minutes to bring that clearance diff closer.
Tips and Raz to run through the middle like last week to allow some line breaking.
JD, Stewart and Hooksy to spread the Eagles defence.
Hurls will again be a rock.
Need Bags and Hartley to be at their best as their form has been just ok.
I think it will go down to the wire.
Fixed.
As others have said, the main thing that will determine whether we win or lose will be our intensity and pressure. If weāre first to the ball, if we outnumber them at every contest, if we spread faster and harder than they do, if we never let them get a clear kick, then weāll win. And if we donāt, we wonāt.
Weāve done it in patches of most games this year. We did it for the first three quarters last week and we did enough of it in the last quarter to hang on. In the other games weāve won we did it for more of the game than the opposition. On Sunday we will need to do it for the whole game, because West Coast are like Adelaide and have the players to score hard and fast if they get half a chance.
On an individual level Iād like to see Watson and Myers really get into it and back to somewhere near their damaging best. Iād like to see Hartley play the game of his life and not let Kennedy get near the ball. Iād like to see Colyer get a bit of luck and some reward for his run and attack. And most of all Iād like to see Joe Daniher kick straight.
This sentence is why the w@nker bingo thread was created
Not sure the WC backs match up that well against us so will be interesting to see.
In particular the 3rd defender Hurn 186cm vs Stewart 198cm. And then their 3 small/medium defenders arenāt really the types that seem likely to cover the very quick small fwds that we have.
B: Sheppard Barrass Hurn
HB: Butler McGovern Yeo
Vs
HF: Fantasia Daniher TIPPA
F: Green Hooker Stewart
If we can get it in there often enough our fwd line should do some damage.
I also canāt see how McGovern can remotely consider zoning off on JD, he has no choice but to play accountable role given the form Daniher is in. Including up to 60m dragging him out of defensive 50. So that weapon they have that is his intercept marking should be limited.
Hopefully that means Stewart can get off the hook isolated on Hurn, huge height/reach advantage.
I donāt really know, but F McInnes goes back too sometimes? He might get Stewart.
