Who would you take out of the 5 votes to get McGrath in?
I canāt remember who I put in my votes but Parish, Merrett and McGrath were certainly in there. I donāt think I had Laverde in.
Iām not knocking any of the players who got the votes this week. Every single player did his bit. Itās just that McGrath was right there in the engine room for the whole game and it was those three midfielders who really drove the win.

Hard because Merrett and Parish are playing unbelievable footballā¦ classic example of āstealingā votesā¦ and then (as I did) you tend to give you third vote to a guy not in the midfield to ābalanceā thingsā¦ like a Heppell or Stringer or Walla, or Ridleyā¦ Heckā¦ most of the team deserved a vote.
