Penrith made an absolute meal out of their last set. Cleary had a clear shot at 2 on the third, but either they failed tactically or were way overconfident. We then get the comical vision of Cleary running in the wrong direction on the fifth.

I didn’t think the Broncos helped themselves by over exaggerating it on occasions.
Why would AFL centralise that level of risk?
It’s hilarious watching Gorden Tallis on NRL360 whenever the Broncos come up. He’s so blatantly aligned to Kevvie Walters and by extension so blatantly anti Madge Maguire that he says absolutely ANYTHING other than EVER giving Madge any credit lol.
Well, R360 looks legit.
Papenhuyzen, Zac Lomax, RTS, Nelson and a few others all look likely to defect to it from the NRL.
I reckon we can comfortably afford to lose Papy and NAS.
We’ve got Lisati coming along nicely along with Utoikamanu as the big boppers, Faalogi ready made replacement for Papy.

I reckon the Broncs played their GF last week, Melbourne will just be their cold, calculating prepared self. It’ll be something like 18-14, Storm will do just what they need to do.

The Lions going back to back makes it bad enough up here but if the donkeys get up this weekend it will become unbearable
Yeh mate that’s where I think they’ll come undone, the expectation up here is enormous. Storm have no expectation, they just get stuff done.

The cynical side of me thinks the NRL will want a flag in Qld to counteract the AFL flag.
V’Landy’s is one insecure cat with a big AFL shaped chip on his shoulder. Unless he thinks a flag in Vic for the NRL will somehow dent the AFL stronghold. I just cannot work him out

If he wanted the flag in Brisbane, they would have named Klein as the ref. He hates Melbourne more than I hate Hawthorn.
