NRL 2026

Yeah it’s horrid but as long as the hick QLD clubs continue to suck then I’m not too fussed. I’d rather the Premiership Shield remain in NSW than the SOO title

Its ok. You ate ya sour grapes before half time.

That seems to just about sum up the NSW attitude over the years which is probably why they suck

They were thoroughly outplayed, no sour grapes there as much as I hate the QLD scum.
I can almost tolerate QLD winning SOO though whereas the Broncos are easily one my most despised teams in all sport so as long as those cretins keep their drought going I’ll be fine

Great game for QLD. QLD light years ahead. Gould and the arrogant NewcastleSydneyWollongong cabal tried to build a comeback fantasy, didn’t work out for them.

QLD once again proves it’s the best, most competitive, state in the country. At the state level, QLD has a real spirit, an espirit de corps, which makes them very difficult to defeat. Other states can throw whatever barbs they want, they are jealous as ■■■■ of us.

I think you are right in a way. It seems that QLD players put state over club whereas NSW players are club over country and you can see the passion in the way QLD play.
I mentioned on here a few years back that I went to a function at the Roosters as my brother is a top tier member there and I found it weird how some of the NSW players were openly saying that SOO was a distraction and they couldn’t wait to get back to club football. The mentality is poles apart between the two states and as such QLD will continue to dominate SOO

Yeah that’s not all that surprising to hear actually. Queensland definitely seem to have more spirit and pride about them and value it that bit more.

Also props to Billy.

He got whacked by many in the media for not “picking and sticking” with DCE but the proof of the pudding is in the eating. The bloke he replaced him with, Tom Dearden, just won the Wally Lewis Medal.

Yep, glad that turd DCE was left out and paid off in spades. Deardon was superb

The big difference is that only once were we almost certainly the worse team but still won. NSW have had arguably a much better squad in the majority of series but QLD absolutely own them for guts and spirit.

The sweet, sweet music of Gus Ghoul having a whinge.

h_d i completely agree with this post of yours that recommends a nuclear device should be detonated over the city of sydney

Now Gallen live ■■■■-talking SBW before a “fight”. Ch. 9 is just all class. Reminds me why I don’t watch Australian mainstream TV channels.

I’m not sure you could find much more bitterness in anything greater than the bitterness in a NSW supporter after losing an origin series.

On the bitterness scale it’s explosive.

Sack Lawry Daley.

■■■■■■■ fraud. That was a garbage first half and a pretty average second.

He has well over half the kangaroos squad at his disposal and the games best half back.

And if he ain’t fit, don’t play him ffs.

Solid Queensland performance, but honestly a strong club side would have shown more fight against them

Again?
He was an absolute failure the first time around and the geniuses thought “hey let’s give this bloke another go”

He’s one of the worst ■■■■■■■ coaches in the game.

He gets the gig because all the other decent coaches in the game have club sides.

Absolute disaster.

Tonight was the equivalent of Brisbane losing to I dunno North talent wise?

Hats off too Billy Slater.

If Munster played for Storm the way he plays for QLD, we’d win the comp every year. Something that jersey does to him.

I honestly thought we’d steamroll them after game one. Origin is a different beast and as a NSW fan I should have learnt to take nothing for granted.

Well played, QBillies.
