Thereās only 4 guys have got through the season - Harry Grant, Sua Faāalongo (1st year really playing minutes), Stefano & Josh King. Just impossible to get anything going.
Good game at Parramatta Stadium. Parra have come to play and were clearly the better team in the first half. Panthersā winger, Tom Jenkins, binned 2 seconds before half-time, so a battle on their hands to prevent a second loss in a row. Parra 12-6.

Luai for one year should give us some enjoyment next year but not much to be excited about as an Eels member
The BIG DOGS get it done in the end. Parra scored late to give themselves a slim chance to take it to a golden point. They will rue some pretty dumb decisions in the middle part of the second half.

I think one of Parraās biggest problems in the second half was Moses. As the bloke who is there to direct and control the game for the Eels, he was very, very ordinary. Instead of pushing his team to show some flair when the Pantherās were down to 12 men, he let them go into their shell. Meanwhile his opposite number did exactly what his team needed, ramped them up and directed them over the line.
Donāt get me wrong, I also think the Pantherās got the rub of the green with many calls, including what I consider should have been a penalty try at the end of the first. The crap about would he have got it down if he hadnāt been fouled was chickenshit by the bunker. He was still the first to get his hands to the ball after being fouled, how the hell could the bunker then say, oh, it isnāt certain he could have gotten the ball and put it down for a try. He missed the try by a fraction of a second. Itās bullshit but as I said Penriff/Cleary and the refs have a speial relationship.
Correct about Moses and Cleary but that happens most weeks as Cleary is the best player in the comp. The Parra forwards had no grunt.
