Numbers

Wouldn’t mind a bit of imagination to be used… like Crowley in 188 (games played), or how about 134, 234, 334 etc to represent the 34

But expecting something boring… numbers 42 to 53 (exc 43 of course) it is

Crowley 5

Isn't Polkinghorne Number 50 already with the VFL. Might as well keep that.

was going to say that

666 for Crowley the King of hell

Should’ve been a ■■■■ thread, instead turned out funny. Whoda thunk.

666 for Crowley the King of hell

Already said that a couple of weeks ago in the top up players thread…

Start them at 99 and work backeards

Are we restricted to positive integers?

Geez, that’s a bit negative isn’t it?

Without knowing the VFL final list, the vacant numbers could be 31, 47, 48, 49?, 58?, 59?, 61?, 63?, 64?, 65? and 70? I would like to see Kelly as #31

The highest number Bomber to play a Home and Away game was previously Trevor Heath #58 in 1971 (source: Mero)

If the first player to wear 31 after Fletch is a top up player, I’ll burn down the club. Or write an angry letter.

Seriously guys, they would never use 31 on a top up player. How stupid do you think this club is???

What about giving numbers that correspond to our premiership years? Maybe not 1984, but 84, 85, 93, 00 etc.

You really want an answer to this???

Not the worst idea I’ve heard, but 01, 11, 12, 23, 24, 42 and 46 are already taken.

00, 93, 85, 84, 65, 62, 50 (Polkinghorne), 49, [EDIT: 97, how embarrassment], 94, 92, 91.

Even if they don’t allow 00 that’s your ten more than covered, with no changes to existing numbers.

Do it.

The worst number in the world to have would be 6.9, because its 69 interrupted by a period…

00, 93, 85, 84, 65, 62, 50 (Polkinghorne), 49, 94, 92, 91.

So, the last 3 are the oft forgotten (not by us) VFL premierships, minus 1893 because there is already 1993. You forgot 1897.

Someone should seriously suggest this to the club.

Damn 1897. Means we can’t use all the legit remaining numbers.

Too many damn premierships!!
