No ‘5’ or ‘4’ upgrade till things settle, imo.

But Rory Sloane is worthy of 4 or 5.

I posted last week I’m also a fan of McKenna getting the #5, back him in.

Move Parish to #4 and give Dev or Stringer #3, #10 to Dev obviously if Francis jettisons.

Why would you go from 3 to 4?

Looks better on him.

Can we leave the 4 and the 5 out of any discussion…

Let someone earn it…

Not that it matters much, just a thought

Stringer 5

Saad, Stringer, Smith, Stewart all to just have the letter S instead of a number

It’s too early for this obviously but for the heck of it:

I reckon Jerrett (20), Bird (24) and Howlett (40) are gone. Based on that:

Stringer - #5 - he is the type of game breaker that belongs in the #5. Sends him the strong message that we are backing him in to be a star of the club despite the circumstances surrounding his entry. And, just quietly, I reckon Jim would love it.

Smith - #20 - just 'cos. It’s round like his old number.

Saad - #24 - always reminds me of Smokin’ Joe this number and I can already imagine Saad smoking a lot of opponents this year. It’s also a deserved upgrade on his old number (and the inverse of it, for what it is worth).

Leave #4 perhaps for next year’s first pick. Leave #31 for Fletch junior.

4- McKenna
5- Heppell

3 = ■■■■ Reynold’s number. Why would anyone want to lose the proudest number in our history?
