We stay in games due to over possessing the football, and by playing keeping’s off. I can’t see this ever working long term. It doesn’t matter how good or bad your fwds are playing this style of game. Sure you wont get blown away as often, but you will never be a contender either. The only times we score are when tippa has the ball and he takes the game on. I don’t care that we make basic skill errors this year, or that we are not good enough, I can live with that. But…
Id rather see us lose by 100 points and take the game on more often then this ■■■■. Im not talking about taking stupid risks, but when its on move the ball quickly, instead of waiting for the better option that never eventuates.
This defense keepings off style Is boring to watch and is not going to get the side anywhere longterm.
On a positive note, Joe is much better at CHF and Brown is a very good clever footballer. Our fwd line will be fine once we get our ball movement issues sorted.

We are a team made up predominately of rookies, retires and VFL players. The fact we don’t get belted by 100 points each week is a miracle.
