It would be ironic if Myers did make a significant contribution to an EFC premiership after Rioli retired and Walla got the Norm Smith.

I still maintain if we’d picked Rioli it’s likely he would have been a crock with our injury management at the time.

So Cyril had a $1.3m contract signed for 2019 and 2020 but there is a mutual agreement that he won’t be paid any of it, freeing up lots of room for the Dorks.

when you live off the land up in the NT, I dont think he needs it the extra cash, hes already had ten years on good coin, probably earned more than most of us will in our lifetime.
let him have a year off.
If he wants something to do with footy, let him get involved with our academy, build the relationship with Essendon and further ties with Tiwi.
It would be a good story if he came back later for any club.
Lots of indigenous players retire young.
