We need to players who can stand ,up to the physically of AFL ,when pressure is applied to them they will not wilt like flowers, we have some of these players, in our VFL reserve AHeppell&Holmes. If you look at the bulldog players ,who played in Grand not one of them are physically in intimidated by any player in the AFL .

Battle is a similar player to Membrey but wins more of the footy up the ground. Powerful, fit and is a smart player and is definitely top 20 worthy. I was at his game where he kicked 6 goals in a final he was sensational.
Pick 20 I’d be happy enough if we got any of the following:
Simpkin/Berry/Rotham/Luke Ryan/Venables/Florent (if he slides)
+Bolton (on talent but concerns with living away from network of friends and family)
Battle, SPP, Berry, Florent, Drew, Berry all okay options if available.
