There was something he said in poor taste during the Australia v Egypt game that I called him out for and flagged as inappropriate. The comments have been removed by the look of things.

Does feel he was treated differently to most.
Having said that, I don’t know what was/wasn’t said, so can’t comment if his turfing was justified or not.

Nino is/was the sweetest nicest most innocent guy on this site and doesn’t have a malicious bone in his body.
Unlike some others here who thrive on point scoring and putting down others for differing views and opinions.
People didn’t like his posting style. Fair enough.
Put him on ignore and don’t respond to posts of his that others responded to. If you saw any of his posts, just ignore.
It’s not that hard.

I’m not sure anyone of Arab descent would necessarily agree with that, had they read his post.
That post deserved to be called out, not ignored. If he’d said “yep, fair enough, my bad” and removed the post, that would have been a better response than “I was just joking”.
Anyway - enough said. Not sure I want to get myself in trouble too.

He was picked on way too much and antagonised. His dumb posts came across as brain farts. Didn’t have a malicious side at all for mine. Far worse perpetrators on here.

Agree.
He got banned for repetitive posting yet others just go on repeat as well. If he has said something racist then understand (I missed it) but he did get treated harsher on here than others.
Oh well, he has Big Footy I guess.

Yeah i also feel Nino got treated very differently to some. But at the same time, I also missed what he said, was at a live site for the game, so wether what he said was perma ban worthy, I dont know.

100%. He obviously didn’t think before he typed. He was a brain fart as you say. There’s posters around here who hate, abuse and behave terribly but don’t get called out and banned. Nino was dealt with unfairly compared to others imo. That’s not excusing anything inappropriate or hateful btw. He just got done for it more than others.

Yeah I keep my posting to a minimum in the footy related threads. More of a fan of the Versus, Betting, TV Show, Books, and Songs You Haven’t Heard in Years threads.
I didn’t see the post that got Nino banned, but found him generally pretty harmless, maybe tedious at worst.
