I don’t I’m just assuming he doesn’t.

I read it like they will decide this week if surgery is needed or not

Yeah your probbly right

I think the scans will determine.

Removes the flexibility we were planning on having.

But I genuinely couldn’t work out if we were going with 2MP and one ruck. Or two rucks with no 2MP.

This one.

But it would have been nice to have the option for a bit.

Of course you want Wright fit as an option, but the preseason showed he’s not in the coaches best 23 right now.

I think the game moves so quick that a guy like Wright just isn’t suited. Horrendous at ground level, slow moving.
Modern forwards these agile guys like Cadman, Caddy, JUH (when on song) are the way the games played now, the big slow clunker like Wright can be a massive liability.

Forward line of Draper mixed with Langers, Caddy, Edwards and Jones types around we still be fine.

Agreed, but no one kicks like 2MP does. Majestic shot for goal.

Being one of only eight or so players playing VFL gives you a fairly good idea that he was nowhere near selection.

Yup, he is done.

Playing in the VFL next 3 years on that money wow

Ben Brown vibes

He’s currently out of our Best 23, only just.
Any one of our Ruckmen misses, then he’s likely straight in.

Also, Bryan might stink it up.
I hope not, and certainly signs are good, but we just don’t know yet.

2mp still would have played games this year.
Ideally, we trade him out to clear the salary, at least for the final 2 years.

Is that a syndesmosis injury ?

Far from soft when he went in for mark and nearly separated Cunninghams head from his body.
When he came back from suspension he was soft, I agree.

He has been sliding downward even before last year, I feel the game has gone past him, his physicality is not where it needs to be and smaller players are moving him off the ball.

He cannot mark since his injury, no good below his knees.

He can kick a ball still though, I wouldn’t use him as a ruck either not strong enough in the contest.

We needed to trade him last year, now with his injury he will definitely get left behind.

If Draper goes ( highly unlikely ) then might be a place, because we can play with one ruckman if either gets injured.

I blame the suspension for this injury.

Weak club!!!

Can’t argue with most of that.

His lack of natural aggression and inability to impose any physicality on contests is disappointing.
With 2 talented teenagers in our forward line now who will be targeted, a protector is needed more than ever.
Pete ain’t it, unfortunately.
