Peter "2MP" Wright - GETTING YOUR MOJO BACK, PETER?

One good year in his entire career. There was a reason GC were happy to offload him bloke is a plodder and soft as butter wasnt a fan of getting him

I doubt the crows would want him when they have thilthrope and Fogarty

both forwards, not rucks

ROB is a fair step up from Bryan. Led the league in hitouts last year. Though he probably only has a couple of years left, and long-term it would be a good opportunity for Bryan. But Adelaide only play one ruck, so he’d be playing SANFL for a few years before getting his chance.

No forum turns on a player quicker than Blitz.
Short memories exist on so many.

He gets wiped out by the AFL because he went too tough on an opposition player, yet he’s deemed too soft on here.

On Blitz, you are either elite or crap; there is no inbetween.

On Blitz, average means poor not average.

He was never a physical forward, even when he got suspended it was because he half arsed it. If he put his arms up to mark he would have been fine. A forward like Caddy wouldn’t have taken his eyes off the ball and it would have been play on.
Having said all that, he’s still gets to enough contests, if he had some half decent small forwards at his feet we would look a lot better. Time to move past him though.

He is soft, I can’t see why anyone would dispute that

He is a very poor contested mark, which at his size and the position he play’s- that needs to be your strength

Yes it is a cop out - but not the one you were thinking of. It was the Club who gutted his confidence by not challenging the suspension, in court if necessary. It was the Saga writ small, and once again the Club officials didn’t have the guts to support our player.

I cant think of a time where Peter busts open a pack by taking a big contested mark

Wright isn’t a ruck either

we were talking about bryan

2mp should have picked Blakey up and given him a WWE style back breaker when that faux tough guy was talking smack to him post the Cunningham incident.

Sure, it would have ended with a Phil Carmen level of suspension, but so worth it.

Our contract department has given 4+ year contracts for average to good players or good players with a splash of great for the better part of the past 10-15 years

Blitz is simply tired of the over inflation of our players output.

When you don’t win a final in over 20 years in a competition where equalisation is standard, average means poor

No…they have just been below average and poor.

Thank goodness we drafted another forward

Spot on Perce. We had a chance to say no this is all wrong. Use the best defence we could muster. But we rolled over like a wet lettuce leaf. Weak insipid mindset.

My bad sorry mate

Maybe we are all over analyzing 2MP and its simply a case of - ā€˜looks like Tarzan plays like Jane’.

He took us to finals off his own boot that time he kicked 7 against the Bulldogs.
