Reckon Peter has all the tools but more than most struggles mentally with the demands of being the best he can be. Just noticed in past clips how he seems to really internalise things (read: beat up on himself) to his own detriment. Hopefully a new environment supercharges his development / growth to the point of being an important part of the best 22. Welcome to Essendon Peter!

Blooos V Tiges is always R1, and reserved for the first match of the season. All is not lost though, as in a full season we normally play them within the first 5 rounds.
Trying not to be negitve here but comming to one of the biggest clubs from one of the smallest. Does not help in this regard expectations will be high.

Ha! Apart from that. And a 4th round pick looks a bargain. As long as Essendon can work out a system that doesn’t involve randomly bombing it deep forward, a bloke of that size and athleticism should do well.
