Peter "2MP" Wright - STAY IN THE TEAM, PETER?

Clearly booing was the real problem that night

Over their respective careers Daniher has averaged 1.7 goals a game and 2MP 1.2 goals a game. I like 2MP’s value by comparison with Lazy Joe.

Maybe Joe under Fagan works harder, he’s no longer at a club who adores his family like we did, If he’s fit and works hard to be his best version to gain respect he could be what we all hoped he’d be for us.

Thought when he had his body right JD was everything he promised to be.

2017 Anzac Day was a bloody special performance. It’s sad he was robbed basically 3 years of good footy.

even the AFL website likes having a dig at Joe

especially at the end seeing Hirdy and Doc Reed

To be fair, I don’t think he’s a champion racist.

Will Peter out very quickly unless he pulls a rabbit out of his hat.

Hope I’m wrong but I’ll be surprised if he plays many good games.

I have lower expectations than 2 metres.

Sorta foot height.

I just hope we’ve learnt how to deliver the ball properly into our forward line.

You can sometimes get away with hack bombs inside 50 when you have Hooker who’s a brilliant contested mark, or Joey who can just sit on people’s heads.

Gonna be interesting to see how we go connecting with more lead-up types in Wright & Jones though, given that neither are particularly strong contested marks at this stage.

I’m expecting Tippa and Stringer to play closer to goals while Wright and Jones play higher up ground giving targets to our midfield and HB line. Hopefully when play is slowed down, we don’t just bomb it to a huge pack for the ball to come back with interest.

He ended Maxwell’s career on that day.

I was more impressed with Hooker’s bodywork on Waite which kept him out of the contest.

Basically peaked in 2014.
I think we got the best out of him, and his best was fantastic.

It will be very interesting to see who goes to Hooker and Wright respectively, because Jones will get the 3rd tall, but really to have any hope we do need to have 2 serious talls in the forward line to kick goals or bring the ball to ground, for the Tippa/Stringer/ Waterman??? small brigade.

Oppo intercept markers have feasted on us, particularly last year. On average there is little spread in I50s from team to team its what happens after the ball goes in that matters.

Do the blues have any marking threats that we need Hooker back for?

Curnow injured

  • McGovern :potato: - Ridley
  • Casboult :potato: - Francis
  • McKay - Stewart

Try Stewart back there early, see if he can be a weapon with disposal from back half.
And let Hooker Clunk in the forward half.
Swap in second half if need be.

McGovern & Casboult won’t be playing.

At 40sec left, Crammers gives away another free kick, unpaid.
