I was wondering if I should share this one at all as it’s a failed image. I didn’t think there would be a lot of condensation in the air but that’ll teach me for not checking. The large black dots and streaks are water.
The tiny tiny thing in the middle though is NGC55, a spiral galaxy like our own. This one is a mere 6.5 million light years away or just as some apes started to walk upright. For those who don’t really know what a light year is, 6.5 million light years is approximately 61,494,748,068,000,000,000 kilometres.

20 minutes before sunrise. The nominal titular star Mt Bromo is off-screen to the left, but you can see some of its sulphurous fumes.
