A bloke who managed the petrol station next to the block of flats I lived in at the time claimed to be the former bodyguard of G Rinehart who had left her employ due to persistent and unwanted attention of a personal nature. This was about 17 years ago. I didn’t think much of it at the time but sure enough a couple of months later there he was in Woman’s Weekly telling the same story. I don’t know if he was telling the truth or not but she didn’t take legal action against him or the Woman’s weekly.

Are you saying Bacchus has a chance then?

Jeez, you’d shut your eyes tight and think of someone else for a quick $100,000 wouldn’t you?

Not even for a million, and a belly full of beer

Viagra and a non-disclosure agreement?

Don’t need the blue pill yet, and even an NDA, one million dollars and a bottle of Grange, but we are getting close.

A chance? You mean a shoe-in.

I think you’d fit more than a shoe in.

So, is it just Vic Gov looking at scrapping stamp duty but lifting land tax?

Probably a much more consistent way of raising revenue, especially if there’s a price crash, but frick me if i gotta pay it after having paid stamp duty already.

I think there is a cut off date. So if you paid stamp duty land tax won’t apply and vice versa.

Makes sense, but they can’t be trusted. I don’t think they’ll get rid of it entirely, just in case they want/need to put it up again.

Did I hear that the Dandrews ban on Gas exploration, was for conventional Gas as well, … not JUST fracking??

If so, … that’s probably going overboard. Every man & his dog is right to not trust the fracking, … but basic old drill & pump Nat Gas?? That would be hard to comprehend.

I think it’s a terrible idea. Additional ongoing burden to people on fixed incomes. Essentially goes from Capital expenditure to operational expenditure. Discretionary to non discretionary. Huge ramifications for people.

Malcolm Roberts to address the senate on what he claims is a ‘matter of importance’ today. Prepare for new depths of stupid to be plumbed.

Apparently it’s about the persecution of Christians in South East Queensland.

Jesus Christ.

Are they feeding them to the Brisbane Lions?
