I have that some times as well - racking my brains to figure out what makes it work & not work.
I think it always works from the full search screen (http://bomberblitz.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1) ?

Yeah I've noticed CloudFlare (our CDN) getting more aggressive with 404's. If it detects something on the page that says "not found" it intercepts it. Very annoying. Need to fix...

Content delivery network. Serves up stuff that blitz regularly serves up to save us bandwidth.

I worked out why I had a full screen. Silly me

Something's screwy today, just had to repair the database. Looks like some upgrades are required on server too.
