With Durham, Ridley and Caldwell back next week we should look a bit better.

The problem is he tries to the best of his ability and there are players in that side who are so much more capable than him that don’t try as hard.

While we continue to have yearly injury lists in double figures, we will continue to be ■■■■.
We had one member of our 7 man leadership group playing.
Our young players aren’t getting any support out on the ground. Both Merrett and Parish aren’t strong leaders. No one is taking charge out on the ground.
It’s horrible to watch.

Only 2 more games before Essendon’s mid season bye, after which the arse falls out of Essendon.

Cox and Perkins i agree useless.
As far as Reid goes , he will be fine long term. Once we have a have midfield who run two ways.
Only Robey and Setterfield can hold their heads up out of the mids today

Probably because Voss had the team underperforming. Scott was coaching poorly but we were still playing to our standard.

Next year will be just as difficult. It has to be, we just have to try and get AFL assistance next year and have a great draft in 2026/27

Injuries nothwithstanding, however if that level of performance continues the calls will grow louder for Hird to return.
worst essendon team ever in 129 seasons of football. Id rather go back to 2006 and watch us lose every week with richard cole and andrew lee
