A delisted 21-year-old Carlton 8 gamer beat our whole squad…
I dont really care about the circumstances which he left. I only care what’s best for the club.
And Im not going to force positivity, just to satisfy people on here who only want positive conversations.
With elite Running yes
Vanders takes offence to that!
But fortunately for Jones he still has a further 2 years of sick leave available!
Charmed life.
Those three or four marks he took down in Tassie against the Hawks during COVID in fkg 2021 have bought him another 6 years. I love this club.
Cloke was not a senior assistant coach though was he? Comparing his departure to Giansiracusa is drawing a slightly long bow. I heard he was a popular figure among the playing group but do you honestly think his departure is a serious setback for the club?
This was one of the changes I intimated about previously. Now it’s out.
Puzzling decision given the focus on development and he was one of the few doing extras with players.
Where did I compare him to Giansiracusa?
The fact is we have 2 coaches leave the system, and it doesn’t look like we have planned for those departures.
We have been lucky that we had an excellent assistant coach on the Board who could fill a role.
But do we have a capable football operations manager who is across the future intentions of the assistant coaches, forward planning and head hunting quality coaches to replace them ?
Was he let go or did he get a better offer?
Stop being negative.
I understand the former but no idea why.
I thought I was reading through old posts in the Nik Cox thread for a minute there.
Just makes your wonder what a guy who hasn’t been able to play for 6 months has been doing all that time. If he can’t go near a weight bench then how the ■■■■ is he suppose to play elite sport.
Right here.
You’ve implied that Cloke leaving is as concerning as Giansiracusa as they were both unplanned. I think Gian leaving wasn’t as unexpected as we think; albeit I agree that the club didn’t seem to have planned for this particularly well. As for Cloke leaving; planned or unplanned I’m not losing too much sleep over this one.
Looks like he retired 2 years ago. That is not an AFL players body.
This is going to sound bad but I agree doesn’t look like the body of an elite athlete, hopefully it’s the camera angle. Some players don’t look like elite athletes and can make a go of it. Lets hope that’s the case for him.
NO LONGER ALL IN
I saw a photo of Duz the other, sure he was working out, probably had great lighting but he was ripped. Probably 12% body fat in absolute ripping condition, prime athlete conditioning.
