Bombers are back.
MI: What in the hell am I looking at!!?!
Thata the most Blitz question ever ![]()
Was Vigo
MI stand for Matthew Innes, or Mission Impossible? ![]()
varcoe is our indigenous player development managerâŚdo we have any left? Gresham? maybe hes broadened his role now that cloke has left?
Far out go Kayle Gerryn all that fitness work has paid off!
Club has stepped up its training reports. Hope it continues.

Bombers are back.
Better fire up the injury thread.
We should have a sweepstakes to guess the first person to get injured along with the type of injury
I wish theyâd fix the audio so we could actually hear the interviewerâs questions.
Was there a reason Kako and Caddy didnât have to do the 2 km run? I thought it was for all 1-4 year players.
Running is only a part of the game. We need our footballers to become good runners. Binns is a good runner, not sure about his footballing.
No offence Bully, but from what youâve said here it seems to me that youâre in no way in any position to judge who is and who is not competent in their development roles. Judging them based on interviews is crazy to me.
Iâm tempted to say âtrust the clubâ but they probably havenât earned that trust yet - even so, the leaders of the football department will be in a much better position than any of us to judge these things.
How did caddy look besides the new ink?
hereâs hoping he has got over that groin issue ![]()

Fair enough, all I can really judge them on is how competent they sound when they speak. Cloke, for example, came across really well and seems to have worked closely with Caddy, whoâs developed superbly under him. Beyond that, you look at their playing careers and the systems theyâve come from to get a sense of their grounding.
I was a bit disappointed we missed out on Luke Power to be honest. Thereâs only so many Essendon people who were part of that unsuccessful era that you want back at the club. Especially when Brad has already brought in a few from North, another system that hasnât had much success.
Look at someone like Mark Williams: everywhere heâs gone, heâs made a clear impact â Port Adelaide, Werribee, the Giants with their young players, Richmond (especially Dusty), and then Melbourne with guys like Kozzie. Thatâs the kind of proven development record Iâd prefer to see at our club, rather than more of the same from past Essendon players who havenât yet shown they can bring young talent through.

Reid - Back related hamstring would be 1.01.
Close thing Darcy Parish with the same thing.
All its missing is a few Tiffany Cherry references and maybe a quick weather reportâŚ
How vocal are Hurley and Stanton out on the track ? I thought they were known for being pretty quiet in their playing days.
