I’m sure he’ll ramp up at some stage. There are still about 6 weeks until opening round.
Or about four weeks to the second practice game if they want him to have a hit out in advance.

Yet he took 128 marks and kicked 53 goals in 2022, so he can do it consistently for a season, but that was playing for Rutten. I think BS is a tough love merchant, and thats not working for 2MP. Its on Brad to find a way to get more out of him. That said, in those pictures his eyes are closed, but his hands are gripping the ball. I have seen heaps of photos of players in collision situations with their eyes closed , its instinctive. He is a confidence player who needs external support and belief. Brad is smart he will figure it out.

It’s a bit silly because lots of players do it. It’s a millisecond. Some of the greatest marks of all time the eyes are closed

It looks like he is also getting a forearm to the back of the head at the same time. I challenge anymore to keep their eyes open in that situation.
