It’s almost like we’re on a forum, with a range of different people, with a range of different opinions, on a range of different topics.

Wow what a bang on call!

yes , thats what i said…

Just play him immediately.
Game fitness.
Don’t let our fitness staff near him.

Prestia is one of the most underrated players of the tigers team.

Width….not height

Used to watch him then too as my nephew played against him. Was always a standout - just did what he liked. Bigger and hairier than everyone else

That’s the Hobbs effect also. The BBM that was and now a “short arse”

What days might we be training this week? Monday (tomorrow) and Wednesday?

We actually train?
What does that look like?

Caldwell, 24, suffered the injury during training on Tuesday

Just wondering if this thread is still being updated. I would love to hear how the new recruits went at training, especially McMahon.

Main training is tomorrow. Was a very light session Tuesday. They are using the 10 day break to give the team a proper break and get over niggles i suspect etc

Popped into training today, didn’t stay long.

Stood under a tree where some birds were chatting, I heard a little birdy say that Parish will play, if he gets through training.

Well… he got through training.
(I can’t vouch for the ‘little birdys’ info’.)

Other items of interest - Gerryn & May at times trained with the defenders.
Also, May is a beast.

Of those with ‘niggles’ - Durham & Gresham participated in full training.
No green caps to be seen.

In the rehab group doing laps - Reid, Langford, El - Hawli.

That’s it for now. I need to go clean bird poop off my jacket.

I was out at the Hangar today as part of the 30 year members tour. I’ve been in the Hangar before but it’s always nice to be around the action and see the players around the place.

A couple of things.

  • Ben Mackay was doing a heavy workload on the second oval. A lot of laps and run throughs. I wonder if they will risk him again this year or set him up for pre season??
  • I was told we have 26 fit players.
  • We did a lot of set shot goal kicking. Like a lot. All players.
  • McGrath is frustrating to watch as a leader. On the mark he doesn’t put up his arms or he’s bent over or sagging off his player. Merrett and Duz bust their gut leading by example. Pidge must be good at talking because he doesn’t really lead at training. Today anyway.
  • Caddy trained.
  • Langford was doing some running and kicking on his opposite leg.
  • 2MP did extra marking drills inside the hangar against Cloke.
  • Spoke to Harves who said Reid wasn’t right for us as he’s the bollocking type and we need class. So we will be looking to the draft.

Your last point regarding Reid gives us a window into their thinking on Tsatas. Sometimes you can draw parallels with thinking.
