Outstanding work. Appreciate all the details!
I feel like that whole report neatly summarises 2024!

Awesome write-up. Thank you. Has El-Hawli got any friends yet?
Hope so. Earlier reports about him being on his own are not a good look. He sounds like he’s ready for the big time so fingers crossed and Brad plays him.
Yet scraped over the line by an after the siren goal.
Gold Coast are not much better then us even with those players coming in.
The other guy mentioned shiel was playing in defence, so you know what that means. El hawli will be in the two’s coz sheil will be taking the back flank position he should be playing (i dunno if he’ll get a wing spot ahead of Cox, Duursma, Martin).
That’s what I feared when I heard that Shiel was playing back, expecting EH or Roberts to have to wait until Shiel gets injured.
i will add
4 Horkbawl
I’m trying to convince myself gresh will lose his spot to Martin and Seh will play wing with shiel sliding back but it’s not working
Best thing we could do from here is play the likes of Gresh and Shiel in the VFl, fully commit to the rebuild and play the kids I say.
About 5000 Blitzers.
Disappointed to hear Martin is still half back
So much better on a wing.
Anyway it’s like banging your head against the wall trying to understand brad Scott’s team selections.
Anddd deploying the short 20m kick out from kick ins.
Thanks for the great write up and analysis of the training session. Love reading training reports, as old mate used to say…
Hope not.
For mine, El-Hawli plays HBF. His run and carry, along with his kicking, will allow quick transition out of the backline. No more propping and chipping.
Quick ball movement opens up the forward line.

Sounds like we have replaced one Saad with another Saad. Cool. This one could easily be better than the last one, especially with his disposal by foot. Might be wasted a little at HB.
How was Nguyen’s kicking?
Martin. Totally different vibe about him than the last time I was at training which might have been almost 2 years ago. Appears very confident and has a bit of a strut on him. Got a lot of the ball and was damaging. Played off half back.
BOOooooOOO
How was Nguyen’s kicking?
Kicking looked fine.
From what I saw, he appeared to hit targets, however that drill was on the other side of the ground from where I was standing.
