Huge wind was in front of that band, … and it’s recycle bin night.

Just went for a drive through town, and there’s lids open or off and gone, bins over everywhere including in the middle of the roads, and crap from arsehols to breakfast time, including broken glass on the streets, … hell of a mess. :persevere:

Looks like only an hours worth of rain in this band.
Suits me, I don’t really want to drive home in a squall.

We’ve had two spells…one from about 5pm with 6.4mm and another a little while ago with 2mm

A nice little bit in Melbourne but nowhere near enough.

20mm to 9am and a couple of shortish heavy showers so far.

Fairly heavy rain about 5am…I think.

Edit…7.8mm to 4.15pm

20mm Thursday, 18mm Friday and 11.2mm and counting since 9am.

Council tree-loppers out in full force in the rain this morning too.

And there was a bloke in shorts, t-shirt and sandals in the coffee shop this morning.

Horrid day.

7 degrees at the local Footy. Rain, Hail, T Storms, wind out the yin yang … :persevere:

Local game was down at Portland today…thanks, but no thanks.

They’ve only had 10mm there though, compared with 20+ here.

Are you Eric Olthwaite?

■■■■■■ freezing at u7 soccer early this morning.

No…don’t like black pudding, although I do own a Spear and Jackson shovel…with brass reinforced handle.

Edit: 25.6mm

OK, that’s enough rain.
Stop now.
The dog is going stir crazy & I’m due a walk for coffee.

This rain reminds me of my childhood. Anyone my age and older (35+) growing up in the 80s/90s, you’d have non-stop rain like this for days and you wouldn’t be able to go outside and play for the best park of a week. I’ve turned the TV off just to listen to the rain hit the roof!

Yep, sounds familiar. Miss it now.

Pouring here in Brunswick

Hammering down in Essendon lol.

No rain in south East yet but the alfresco is covered in earthworms! ■■■■■■ ■■■■■■.

Now I have to hose it off or they stick and stink up the place.

28 degrees and beautiful sunshine in Bali
