Rd 18: Team v Roos - Woosha flicks the Bird and talks Laverde to us

Preferred the first title.

Okay, first instincts are usually best.

It’s been the Saints in the main I believe, … or at least started with them for the first few.

No Goldstein, Thomas or Ziebell to sledge. Does anyone know any other North players? Anyone at all?

Does Shannon Grant still play?

It’s not against a set team. It’s been against melbourne, the hawks, saints that I can remember. Don’t think it’s a set round either, actually.

Bird unlucky. Good to see Lav back.

Fisher AND Pannell umpiring our game, Essington is the least of our worries.

Thought it could have done witha tweak, … Woosh goes to the LAV, and does the Job …

That is the most sensible I have ever seen the team named.

No one out of position.

Bird unlucky, but he was the only one who logically could be dropped for Jobe. Unless Heppell was rested.

Guess time will tell if lav was the right choice.

Guess it’s better than howlett in.

Do we know if there’s a reason for that? Seems weird, when all of our other marquee games are played against a fixed opposition?

Feel for Bird, comes in and plays well and is still dropped

So we’re basically playing North’s reserves?

Bird not even an Emergency. Papers marked.

I hope not.

North’s reserves beat us earlier in the year.

We had this fifteen minute period where we kicked something like 0.8 plus 3 on the full.

as someone else said, North are in tank mode.
they didn’t wanna run the risk Essington turns up and north winning.
