Happy Birthday!
You just came in here to run it in didn’t you!?

Speaking of ice cream.
There was The Sennet’s Polar Bear neon sign which was on the southern/outboarnd side of Flinders St, station.
Then there was something a long way back called a Donald Duck X29, an orange flavoured icy pole.
Let’s not let nostalgia cloud our memories.
The sunny boy was about 50% amazing (the softer supersaturated flavour side, and 50% rock hard ice block side that had no flavour.
And the disappointment if you squeezed the pack too hard and the whole thing fell out of the pouch.
I have an urge to respond to this.
That’s our Mothers you are talking about !
I remember there was some fourth Paddle Pop flavour beyond Rainbow (caramel?), Chocolate, and Banana but I can’t remember what it was.
Also, now I’m remembering old primary school snack food, tazos in chips. Bring back tazos.
It was a much simpler time…kids these days are playing video games, chatting online have all sorts of exciting stuff.
We had shrinkies…
Kidz!
I remember actual shrinkies that you coloured in and popped in the oven, not newfangled microwaves.
(Actually, I assume the person who wrote the above is senile or trolling, ‘cause what is a microwave going to do to plastic without water in it?)

Vanilla?
That was before he became the lead singer of Nickleback
Back in the 1960s it was pre-Sunnyboys and the frozen drinks were Jubblys.
When you could eat a Golden Gay Time.
Not sure where to post this but here we go. I watched AFL360 tonight and Robbo spoke of the old Southern Stand at the G with its wooden steps. I am a lot older than Robbo and went to the G first before he was born. I cannot remember wooden steps in the old Southern Stand.
Anyone on here who has a memory of this.
Now I do remember wooden steps at Windy Hill.
Choc-toff might have been it.

Oh, there is metal in the bag. Basically, do ten minutes in the oven to get a refined shrink of the polymers, or do a few seconds in the microwave to get a mess and potentially an explosion.
Nope. Don’t remember that…and doubt its accuracy.
When you could eat a Golden Gay Time.
You still can
Assuming he has the members and the southern stand confused?
The old Southern Stand definitely had concrete steps.
I can still picture my brother in the 70s, completely Adrian Quist at the end of a long day in the sun sinking cans at the cricket, slipping on spilled ice and water in his rubber thongs and bouncing down those steps one by one on his backside.
