There was some blurriness on occasions.
Being able to remember when Essendon last had a decent team.
Good thing he wasn’t an anaesthetist.
When you want to add something to this thread, only finding you posted the idea a month ago.
When you start including the afternoon nap on your daily list of things to accomplish.
I have never taken afternoon naps. Nights are for sleeping, except when the TDF, various WCs and the Ashes as well as Le Mans on. While l don’t pull any all nighters, l will often stay up later. Still have to get up at 7.30 to walk the dog etc.
It’s more of a concern when you start to list waking up from an afternoon nap as an accomplishment.
I absolutely love 'em. Lie back in the comfy chair and drift off for 30 - 60 minutes and wake up feeling relaxed, alert and refreshed.
Since retiring, I’ve noticed that I’ve gradually been going to bed later and getting up later than when I used to when working.
Watching the game with my boy tonight, Caddy takes a mark, my boy turns to me and says “He’s bloody younger than me!”.
I felt very old in that moment.
What are you worried about? I’m four times his age!
When they play the Red Hot Chilli Peppers on GoldFM
Gold!!
Did the 3 minute walk down to the local supermarket yesterday to get some sugar.
Came back with a bag full of stuff so a successful trip.
Just made myself a cup of tea…no sugar!!!
It was the reason I went to the shops and I forgot all about it.
I did the same…needed bread and a lemon. Spent $42, forgot the lemon.
Yesterday was the second time that I’ve left a bag of shopping behind at the supermarket self check-out. Luckily both times I’ve been able to retrieve it later in the day when I remembered.
I wonder if I try random supermarkets and just say I left a bag at self checkout and see what I get
Probably mine.
