Club should be citing West Coasts ability to be competitive and correlate that with actually being able to pick the highest rated kids when they finished last. A bonus Pick 19 isn’t the same as having Dougie Cochrane on your list it’s as simple as that.

Pick 2 has to be on the cards surely.
After we lose by 100 points against GWS next week, then v Haw, then v Adel, then v Geel, then v Syd.
It has to now be a possibility.
Especially when you combine it with likely 15k home crowds against GWS, Adelaide and Port coming up at Marvel.
If that isn’t soundi g alarm bells for the AFL then nothing will.
Genuine commercial nightmare for the AFL to have a club formerly as big as Essendon now reduced to Fitztroy 1996.

There is a potential issue of clubs suing the AFL if they only play us once next season. I doubt draft picks are the answer at this stage. We should be able to choose 3 players from the opposition every week who have to play for us.
