One of the worst teams I’ve ever watched. Some of the younger players (Roberts, Caddy, KAKO, Perko) are okay, but I’ve never seen a more limp wristed bunch of senior players play for us. Completely bereft of leadership when one of the worst teams statistically of all time are somehow working their way back into the game.
Poor skills. Poor decision making. Lack of any kind of composure. Fair play to Merrett he lifted in the last, but when the game was teetering between us waltzing away with it, or keeping them in it (basically the third quarter) not a single ■■■■■■■ player showed anything close to leadership in my opinion.
After 20 years of ■■■■ this is where we are at, what we showed against North and WCE. The sad thing is nothing has changed, and particularly amongst the senior players. I just don’t see how this club can or will change and I’m completely lost as to why we are as ■■■■ as we are. It seems to run so deep and broad at all levels of the club.
I almost feel we’d be better off losing a game like tonight to put pressure on the place.
Edit: we should change to the Essendon Groundhogs, because it’s so ■■■■■■■ predictable, same story for years and years and years.

Thank you Essendon for 2025 so far. I used to come home from the footy watch the replay and then at least one more time during the week. However, our 2025 games are so unremarkable and devoid of highlights I save so much time now. Yes winning is good but no real highlights means replays are unnecessary.
