To tag one of the best mids in the game, you need someone that is actually capable of doing so. Even then, the tag is useless (and ultimately detrimental) if that player you are tagging is simply way too good.
Merrett cooled off after his ridiculous first quarter, but he still ripped them apart in the other three

reminded me of Norths recent matches vs swans they were unlucky, at least we didn’t have to rely on a interchange infringement to win.

We have the worst forward line in the competition, this should definitely be out priority fix.

Won’t beat any of the top 8 sides with that kind of performance. All aspects of the game were down, midfield, defence, forward line were all bad.
We will get Carltons season back on track next week.

Well, he has had no confidence all year. (Except against us when we were kicking to him all day and Weideman is incapable of taking a mark).

We don’t win that last 1/4 without Stringer as well. Menzie also played a good game. Get 2MP back and fit and add a developing Davey, Tex and Walla and we could create a very good forwardline.

I agree. It is dysfunctional at the moment but can be fixed by removing the non performer.
I’m comparing our forward line to the rest of the comp and currently Menzie is not good enough and String is a flash in the pan. Not much about it is competitive.
He’s not the sensitive type.
