They stepped or slipped tackles all day all over the ground. Only Robey looked like breaking a tackle and only through brute strength.
Our defenders got what they deserved for playing back shoulder on gunstan. Redman arguably the worst offender making the same mistake twice in a minute when the game was alive was particularly disappointing
Very gettable missed set shots in the second followed by some poor defending really took the wind out of us and we dropped our head and fell away at the contest.
Predictably looked at least a runner short all day
Contact injuries to Ridley and Robey are frustrating

VFLs won by a combined 64 points (Hawk girls keep goal-less).
AFLs lost by a combined 139 points.
It’s all up the wheelchairs now. Final H&A round, both teams seeking the higher finish which will enhance their chances in the three-week finals series.

The only saving grace today could bring is the tigers keeping there loss to under 45 points
