Omg get over it. I can say I hate this club to let off some energy after another heartbreaking loss but i’ll still be back next week like I have every week for 2 decades
Every ■■■■■■■ year let’s not tag Pendlebury or Sidebottom ■■■■ me
Happy? No I’m ■■■■■■
But there’s a difference between being ■■■■■■ and being an absolute spud shouting into the wind
It was disappointing to lose.
But there are actually positives to take from that game.
We are capable of more than a bottom 4 team this year.
We ran Collingwood pretty hard today.
Again…
Disappointing to lose from 5 goals up, but we have to put ourselves in a position to win to learn how to win.
Our structures fell away under pressure.
Once Laverde went off, we had to shift Setterfield back to cover the lack of height. To get him back into the midfield, we had to shift Langford back which again, took away a strength.
When we called the ‘chips in’ play, we didn’t actually spread as well as we were hoping. That’s the first time we’ve called that play (and we have practiced it at training), but the players couldn’t execute under pressure. We need to get ourselves into that position again. You don’t just become a 2000 premiership team without going through the pain and growing times of 1998 and 1999.
Pity to lose, but we are performing far better, for longer than we have for a long time. We’ve played 6 very solid consistent games.
We’re on the right path. We just need to keep working at it.
Spineless club. Should change our name to the Essendon Jellyfish.
Too many pea hearts thinking the job was done at 3/4 time and drinking their own bath water.
We wouldn’t have beaten a bloody B division EDFL side with that last quarter. No way.
Like St Kilda, again out coached
Loved how we played change nothing.
The loss makes it less palatable but we were amazing.
They practiced their last qtr all summer, particularly the last 5 mins.
We weren’t gassed.
We were sitting ducks. Collingwood were in our heads, and we let them live there in the last quarter.
We are scared of this club.
Of course you can… The 11 day break means NOTHING… ■■■■■■■ please…
This is a bit of an extreme reaction to us losing to a team who will probably finish the season in the top 4.
Just asking in reference to stop the momentum.
Walla wouldn’t have been fit enough to run out a quarter of that intensity game.
Yep…we’re going nowhere with those blokes playing.
I don’t understand this sort of thinking, it’s a game played by 22
The bombers were up by 28 points & didn’t play smart footy.
so many players were completely unsighted in the last.
i mean i’ll never watch the replay, but keen to hear from the astute footy brains on here what happened.
Still can’t believe no one ever fkn tackles Pendlebury
We just watch him waltz around us very fkn time
It’s always the same when you go to Collingwood games, always leave the ground gaping
