We played a really good team who are really good runners. In the last quarter they ran us off our feet.
he wouldnât have fumbled like menzie one touch would have kicked goals against the flow.
I donât know, I thought it was pretty on brand
That poor little kid crying her eyes out. It should â â â â â â â hurt!
We lost to Collingwoodâs patched up side who had a bout of flu run through them.
Most of the comp wouldâve beaten them today
Sack the bootstudder, sack the fitness staff, sack the tackling coach, sack the midfield, etc etc
we didnât stop trying
we just got worse the harder we tried

What neutral would have been disappointed with that game today?
Most people are disappointed when Collingwood win.
We let a side ram on 7 last qtr goals.
Everyone will beat us.
They played 20 good mins of football and smoked us.
All neutrals hate the filth
As I stated - give it to Geelong. They will stitch up the maggots, big time.
Moore has â â â â â â â COVID/Gastro/Whatever and still rocks up and smashes us and then goes and delivers a ripper speech. No chakas. No âYeAh GoOd On YoU gUySâ.
Our entire team turns up after a 10 day break and decides we donât want to bother running in the 4th.
The Pies didnât win today. We lost. We had them on the ropes and refused to show them any respect.
4 wins from the past 17 Anzac Days Essendon. And yet all you do every year is talk up what a great day it is for our club. Put that unbelievably â â â â record front and centre in your trophy cabinet you â â â â â â â disgrace of a club.
â â â â COLLINGWOOD
everyone say it, it helps
A lot of our players have a long way to go to cope with the pressure when it hits. Unfortunately a couple will never learn because they are already 30. The younger guys will hopefully come good⌠For once, please!
Interesting now to see what Scott does with the team after that loss. Thereâd be a lot to take in from the last quarter. A lot of players looked not up to it, and the 5 day break may allow Scott to ârestâ more players than he usually does. The trouble is keeping the morale of each player up while making the necessary decisions for the team.
When youâre 28 points up and have the momentum you just have to capitalise. I donât believe in the excuses right now, we needed that win so desperately and the players flew the white flag.
At least we were ahead when the siren blew with Rutten as coach.
Nuke tulla and reduce us to smouldering radioactive ashes.
Agree, it was like they were toying with us in the last.
I made a decision when the siren went. No more ANZAC Day footy for me, canât see the point of watching when the result is nearly always a foregone conclusion.
Edit: They thought they had it won at the end of the 3rd quarter and went to sleep in the last.
That last quarter⌠It was like a tsunami.
