Ding! No Martin in the backline. Probably not even on the wing. We killed 2 birds with one stone (in a bad way) by playing Martin back.

In addition to this, heās been wilting at any physical contact recently. His inability to grab a contested mark cost us a goal or two today.
He seems bereft of confidence at the moment. Hopefully this win can re-energise him.

Just a minor thing, by I did enjoy seeing Longmuir go from leaning back with his hands behind his head, to āoh crapā mode.

Problem with that is, it means Hawthorn beat them with 2 easy games to follow.
So then we canāt get over the Hawks unless we stay undefeated, which we wonāt.
This is the first time all season whereby Im leaning towards 13.5 wins not being enough.

The jubilation on the kids faces in the crowd was beautiful to see. My 11 year old son burst into tears when we won, just a release of emotion I havenāt seen from him with footy.
