At the time I didnāt understand why he did that. From that angle it shows what a fantastic tactic it is. Had he just kicked normally it would have been smothered. Very very very smart.

Serious question, why werenāt they penalised at the ruck contests for a straight arm block? Did it at almost every ball up and boundary throw in. Smackās been pulled up for it every time in past games.

Amazing win. Just have to follow up with a good solid win next week. Not a scrappy 25-30 point win, but a good solid 10 goal win against a rabble.
What to do with the side?? No changes?? Iād give Hepp another week off, same with Raz and put Z.Clarke and Lav back in.

Clarke might need another week. Heās had a minor surgery. Wouldnāt hurt to get another ruck game into Smack and Harts anyway.

After the goal Jenkins went to the ump and patted him on the shoulder to say thanks, then had a whinge and the ump says āIāll keep an eye on himā.

Really? Knew he was into hospital for a āstomach complaintā, but wasnāt aware there was surgery involved. Maybe there is only one change tops - reckon reading between the lines, theyāll manage Heppell big time, and reckon theyāll think the side can win without him next week.
Just something minor. Appendix etc etcā¦ Hepp definitely needs another break. Maybe Zerk in for Hooker too. We donāt want to get too cocky though.

Possibly - Dodoro raised two names last night with BT that he reckons will still debut this season. Zerk and Mozzie. Not sure about the latter given heās still out with a hammy.

Had a look at the ladder predictor and we could end up at 5th with Adelaide in the 1st week of finals.
My predicted top 8 would be,;
Geelong
WC
Collingwood
Brisbane
Essendon
Richmond
GWS
Adelaide
So we could reasonably have Brisbane as a semi and WC in a prelim.
