I did the ladder predictor as well. I have us possibly as high as 4th. If Nth beat Brisbane today and Collingwood beat Richmond next week, then Richmond beat Brisbane last round, we need to win our remaining games including Collingwood in the last round. None of those scenarios are too far fetched.

In agreement with this BUT percentage is a huge factor in getting us into the four. We’d need to win say two games by 20pts, another couple by 50pts and next week by ~100pts.

Since 99-01 (excluding much of 2013 - remember that ~140pt win over the Demons?) we’ve never been a team to take percentage seriously.

I’ve actually got us averaging a 20 point win with 40 points over GC and pretty much every other game at 20 point margins

A guide to how good that game was, is reflected in how hard it was to give votes. There was some very good intuitive play from a lot of players which indicates both their comfort in playing together, and their trust in each other.
Dyson said something in his after game chat about it not being about individual stats. And it showed. It was a very very good team effort. Players preferred to sacrifice their own games for the betterment of the team is what makes a champion team.

Getting trades right has been massive for this club and team…last night and the previous weeks Stringer, Saad and Shiel have been immense.

I’ve noticed that our hand-balling is becoming more skilled and slick, Richmond style. Our system is starting to come together where we don’t need all our stars playing to win a game, Richmond style.

I tried my newly found ritual of getting extra salty crisps by eating them whilst reading the oppo autopsy thread on BF. It didn’t really work, as most of the posters were talking about how terrible Don Pyke and Hartigan are, as opposed to taking pot shots at our players.

However, going over to the North board and looking at their non-north football thread where there are some comments about the Adelaide v Ess game … yep, they’re convinced we’re on PEDs because we can run quickly.
