Great point, and something I noticed too.
Most of the year when we have run and gun, handballing through space, it has been heart-in-the-mouth type stuff. Last night (and last week too) it felt much more controlled and prescise.

I think this was our most important win for the year for one reason. The input from each player was immense. While the output varied, every player at some stage stood up and fulfilled their role which contributed to us winning what really should have been an unwinble game. Weāre becoming a team rather than a team of individuals. Now for that consistency needed to make us a great team.
Probably why they recruited Polec, Hall and Pittard who are (supposed to be) quick. Iām quicker than Tyson, but North have a very slow team.
And long like kicks too
Great winā¦ just great win for so many epic reasons. Our ball movement continues to improve but it was the intensity right from the first bounce that impressed me. We were up to our elbows in the contest from the first siren and it was manic. Our defence held firm enough considering the changes down there and we got lucky that crows werenāt more accurateā¦ but by the 3rd we were really getting on top.
Kudos to woosha and coaches to throw hooker forwardā¦ it was the correct move and changed the dynamic.
Starting to hopeā¦
Thatās ridiculous. At speed too!
Good repost. What was with the girl in the laundry?!
The first half was not that crash hot
Our handball skills were outstanding last night. Best Iāve seen for a while!
I am in the UK now, any links to watch the reply, I do not have the AFL GLOBAL pass. Thanks
Hopefully Draper out there on the ground post-game is a sign that heās staying.
If you had of said at the start of the season, youād go to adelaide with all those injuries, clarke in the middle, hartley down back with francis and ambrose, how many would honestly believe theyād get a win ?
Itās why I think you have to keep trying to find new and better ways to improve during the season.
the best part about last night was the fact the coaches pro actively found a way to change the game.
they started out with the plan of hooker back, mckernan ruck and hartley forward and back up ruck.
It wasnāt working and they switched it around and found a way to win.
Itās not necessarily about having a plan b, or c or whatever, itās about moving the pieces to better implement plan A and having different ways to achieve that.
That would have to go down as one of the better recent wins in the last 15 odd years, just cos it should show them what they can achieve, no matter who or what is out there .
Training/medico staff deserve some praise for keeping Dev, JD, Raz, Bellcho etc off the park. Done better than the Saga in bringing on the next crop of hungry Bombers.
The entertainment value this club has given over the last four weeks is phenomenal. We are bumping up the next TV rights package deal every week.
I am surprised anyone can get a good read on predicting this years top 8.
I think pies, cats, tiges and probably West Coast are top 4.
The rest is a lottery.
Yeah, I had the same problem last week. I checked the scores and we were down by a point and messaged in whatās app to my cousin and asked how much time left. He said 17 seconds and I was like āoh crapā and he replies āweāre upā.
Harts was good eh.
Club appreciated him according to our website. Wish a few more blitzers did too.
If we finish up with a finals win (or moreā¦) itāll boost next yearās membership numbers.
Heās missed a final series before & it stung him
If there is any chance he can be right for finals for us you know he will be trying like hell to do so
