I actually didn’t care at the game.
Tradeable. Are they good players? Yes. But they aren’t off-limits in my book.
We are still a club that has no backbone. When things go against them they drop their heads and their effort is pathetic. Seeing players not even put their arms up on the mark when Crows players are kicking for goal should a be an immediate droppable offense. I don’t care who the player was.
No team should kick 9 goals in a row against any team. Somehow the team in 14th was able to do it against us. Hopeless. We are in no way ready for finals. Can we just lose every game here so we improve our draft pick because clearly we need new players with some ticker.
As for kicking for goal, how do you miss 10m out. If Draper wants to be an AFL footballer he needs to spend his summer learning to kick (rather than sitting in some resort) or play Bryan. I love what Caddy could become but like Draper he needs to spend the summer kicking for goal otherwise we will lose more games than we win.
What is going on Ridley returning and we seem to be 10 times worse we have gone 3-5 since he returned and they don’t seem to be working well together.
What’s clear is that with virtually a full list to pick from we are still miles from it. Well done Dudoro in building a wonderful list over the past 20 years. Our contract situation is crap. We have too many players who shouldn’t be on the list have contracts for next year. How Menzie & Goldy have got contracts for next year who knows.

Ridley looking very soft. McKay had the best score involvements for Adelaide to half time. Midfielders refusing to go the ball. Just watching Adelaide midfielders pick the ball up unopposed. So very bad.
