Hope can be a hell of a thing.
Who would of thought leaving menzie out would be a bad call…
We’ve turned plenty of corners, but we exist in a closed maze.
It was fun while it lasted
Don’t worry guys. The guy who has been in charge of this list for the past 14 years+ will get us fit and firing for next year.
I thought we played well.
Where are our big bodied mids Mr Dodoro!
■■■■■■■ disgusting
Are we fading away at the end of the season? Could be in for a frustrating finish to 2023.
Anyone who thinks we have a good game plan doesn’t know much about winning games of footy.
The idea that you take slow criss cross kicks in the back half because they are safe is a recipe for moving the ball slowly. Switching across the ground is fine if it allows you to move the ball on and play in space. But when you go back and across, then wait, then go long after the opposition has all jogged back behind the ball…
I would like someone to get clip of Hind’s run through the middle that resulted in Guelfi’s goal and slip it under Scott’s door.
Move the farkin ball!!!
This club has to be one of the most inept organisations.
Over the years how many coaches have had a crack? We are happy to ‘play’ finals yet we haven’t won one for 2 decades.
Pathetic what this club has become.
A blessing in disguise not to scrape into the finals this year and be belted yet again in the first week.
Same inside 50s, we have no key forwards who can create a contest and bring ball to ground
The energy after last week’s demoralising loss felt that we will only win a couple more games this year and finish 12/13th.
This is exactly what is going to happen and again the footy world knows what this team produces when heat is applied.
Just looking forward to the draft now. Most other teams in our position would and will be fighting out for finals but not us, heck even our coach isn’t thinking finals and that’s even before round 1 what message does that send to the players.
Vanilla club, vanilla team, vanilla fitness team, vanilla Dudro
Snelling and Perkins can be dropped need a different look up forward.
Out: Snelling, Perkins, Ridley
In: , Wanganeen, Menzie, Hind
sub: Walla/Davey
Ridley quad injury. If it is anything more than a minor strain, he’ll be done for 2023.
Ergo, Essendon can pack up for 2023. He is the single player we cannot afford to lose.
Went too defensive. They kept flicking handball to the their defensive side of contests to launch attacks and we had no one on our attacking side.
He is too good for Essendon
Actually more disappointed tonight, terrible tonight
I have zero hope at this point. Not even for the draft, since we have 20 years of experience knowing how the picks will end up.
