port played way better. found it frustrating how they dropped their knees all day, and got a free kick from it most times, didn’t need to do it and was poor sportsmanship and umpiring.
Anyone who is going to come in this thread and moan, whinge, berate, crack the ■■■■■ etc need their heads read.
Against a hot opponent on the road with a pretty significant injury early in the game, you cannot complain about that performance.
Without getting the points, the perfect “keep the percentage” type game before the fixture turns around and gets so much better for us. We will win those games next year - guaranteed.
We have now played 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th & 6th in the last 5 weeks with 3rd to come next week. And we are only 19 points behind after that five week run combined.
It will get better.
On a more serious note, I’m happy with what I saw today. Some bad errors made at critical times but that’s the reality of the players we have. We looked in it all the way to the end. Redman is the only one I’d expect much better of.

Scared to win against a good team, as soon as we get a lead we basically sit back and let them beat us. Should have been a 40 point loss.
As soon as the pressure goes up we turn soft and fumble.
Also our good team defence has disappeared in our last 9 quarters of football, was the major positive this year.
I mean at face value that’s cute and all to say, but it doesn’t change reality.
