Review vs Suns - 2024 round 22

Losses like that do hurt. Because you do hope for some crazy reason we win, win the next 2, and win a final

But as soon as Mac kicked that goal I went “oh well” and went back to the reality of we actually aren’t good enough. I know it, the media knows it, most of blitz knows it beside the clappers who justify guys like menzie an davey. The only people who don’t, are the club

We’re gonna rock up round 1 2025 with the majority of this garbage list, and hope again

The only thing that could even spark my interest next year is if we went nuclear on the list and purposely delisted about 8 guys, and traded about 4-5 others

Groundhog day. This list and team who played tonight are complete losers. Proven losers, time and time again who will not take us forward. I could not speak less about the guys who play for us bar a handful - they are embsrrasing. The house that dodoro built

How much more fkn evidence does anyone need that this list is not up to it

Don’t agree, we were all over them. They were playing with no confidence we just should of won.

I’m not gutted, so used to these kind of losses. I’d have been annooyed if we’d won and it papered over how ■■■■ we are. I wish we could just lose normally by 2+ goals so it’s not a famous win for the opposition and replayed a million times.

Announce Heppell signing

Our forward line is horrible, disjointed, slow and lazy; both when we have the ball and when the opposition have it.

That’ll really teach the stadium staff who have to clean it up!

Mentally scarred losers.

The absolute lot of them.

Be thankful theres two junk games in the year.

Shame its not a lot more like gold coast , stkilda and adelaide have had.

Brad should finally play some more youth(hayes, jayden davey?)

Round 1 2025 should look different to this side that went out

As much as I loved that myself, and got out of my seat.
They walked through his initial tackle (yet again) the play before that GC player received the ball.

It’s three face palms for every cheer with him lately

There were two, from bay 7-ish. They were clearly aimed at that farking pos team Gold Coast (and maybe the umps) who were congregating there.

Whatever.

Hope that cope helps you sleep better tonight I guess.

Couldn’t manage a goal from the last 9 opportunities. A goal. How in the ■■■■ would they win a final at a greater intensity versus a better side than the soulless afl construct that is GCS?

It’s so atypical it’s as if it’s scripted. Year after year, game after game.

Caddy is an exciting prospect but yeah we should absolutely be carving this list. Shame we’ve committed long term to a number of players that don’t stand up when it really matters.

Okay lose to a team after the siren. Yikes.

Who had nothing to play for tonight. Fk

Who hasn’t won an away game in 17 games. Fkn no fkn way. Yes fkn way.

In the history of our club we’ve never won a game after the siren. We’ve beaten beaten by one once every season for the past 3

Because gutting the list and going to the draft is guaranteed to work North have been rebuilding with high draft picks since 2019 and still are farking garbage

Jayden Davey will be lucky to be in a list next year. Can barely get a touch in the VFL

Well if GC fans watch that replay they will see their team do about 5 good thing for an entire quarter. 2 of those were in the last 20 seconds.

Caddy has just had two huge doses of loser culture injected into his veins from the Adelaide game and tonight. Poor bastard has talent, but he’ll end up a 200+ game talented loser like Merrett.

Games like this you want to put Stringer and Gresham in the cannon. Along with Lav and Menzies.

what was that ump doing giving Draper a free kick when Langford marked it.

Draper should have kicked 5 today.

Yet they push teams pretty hard and have an incredibly young list. Wake up Nino, something needs to change at bomberland or we’ll be in the same position in another 10 years. Way we are doing isn’t working.
