Review vs Suns - 2024 round 22

Even if we won it would’ve been such a lol.

No matter what, we can never put a ■■■■ team away.

A team’s bus could crash on the way to the game and we’d make hard work of beating fresh air

If your takeaway from that game is to take a shithouse, weak potshot at a bloke who wasn’t on the field then you have nothing to contribute to worthwhile football discussions.

i liked to see Hobbs butt heads with rowell.

we lack a Kako type who can create up forward.

Menzies (def) and Davey are not the answer.

I would rather Wanganeen in defence over Menzies.

not sure who we can play up
forward, maybe El-Hawli

One goal f**king nine.

More sprays than Peter North.

We never ever ever ever ever learn.

In fact we do the opposite, we keep losing the even more unthinkable

That would be the mistake, we need to move as many 25+ers as we can, any and all, no matter the farkin optics, ditch any soft carnts and go a proper rebuild (with of course the same being done to anyone involved in any draft or FA decision made at this farkstick club for the last 25 years too, they also ust be cannoned)

Got denied about three goals just from our players streaming freely through the middle and then kicking to his opponent’s advantage (or a third player).

Oh well Essendon, you still did better than that Australian breakdancing clown show at the Olympics.

Kako if we land him, wont be good overnight.

I wouldnt expect a caddy like debut year for a small forward.

From what I understand he is no Isak Rankine.

Thats the calibre of small forward we need.

The book I’m reading just summed up being an Essendon fan:

Was at the game.

The main takeaway is nothing new to anyone here. Our forward entries are completely f@rk3D. Multiple leads are ignored to dump kick into no man’s land or to a contest in their favour.

I get the feeling the players have been instructed to kick the ball to a point on the ground rather than to a teammate.

In addition just the sheer weight of disposal errors is a drag on the team. I’m actually glad that finals are out of our hands. There is no way known that we could compete.

I don’t know to what depths our club is willing to plumb. There seems to be no shame they aren’t willing to endure and put us through. Go ahead buy memberships. Give your money to a bunch of incompetent clowns.

The amount of people who thought we were back after last week was laughable. I will finish by saying that the list is poorly handled. There are players who shouldn’t be out there (ahem Lav) yet are granted games. The forward entries, the unwillingness to play form players in the VFL is on the coaching panel.

A poor performance all round.

I think the way teams build their list has changed now.

With how tight the comp is becoming which this year has proved means teams can’t afford anymore to be down the bottom of the ladder for years. A team like the Pies don’t believe in rebuilds.

Seething after that, how TF could they not put that game to bed, absolutely dominated that last quarter. Pathetic effort

Yep, true. Heppell has nothing to do with our culture of losing. He’s a winner who instilled winning attitudes in the place as captain. Sorry to take a pot shot at a hero.

Swans and cats rebuilt sides that were successful (Ie they had quality players who had tasted success). I can’t see how Essendon can emulate that given we have not had success for 20 plus years.

So we recruit some

it says a lot about how fragile our players are that not a single one of them would i have faith in to kick a goal like mac andrews did

Who cares, CUT HIM and move on, it’s just money some hungry kid will give as much or more (not that we could draft such kid)

THe Saints aboslutely pantesed us last offseason with this and the fake Shiel interest, the SAINTS fark we are the scummat the bottom of every shower

And the club had a recent culture of success….
