Review vs Suns - 2024 round 22

It won’t hurt. Hopefully someone who’s actually skilled. And mentally tough/ competitive. A tough skilled competitive c#ntt, would be perfect.

The Good Lord giveth - Essendon 90 v Flogmantle 89 and;
The Good Lord taketh - Essington 86 v Suns 87

Maybe and it’s prob semantics but I just don’t think they care. When you don’t care about something you don’t give your all so could co e across as being gutless

So we continue treading the same path that has been proven without a doubt not too work because an alternative might not work?

We can’t see how we could possibly emulate sides that rebuilt after recent success - we are missing the success so it just isn’t possible.

If you keep repeating errors you aren’t learning.

Bulldogs and GWS were our only 2 good wins.

The team are the biggest pretenders.

It’s not that Heppell is the problem. It’s the fact that he is still there, which is endemic of the problem.
We keep players too long.
He shouldn’t have been playing last year. And Hurley was kept two years too long as well.
I imagine there are others.

this is just another example of the ‘soul’ of the club as an issue. Total denial of what we have become

Barham said he wants to know what geelong and sydney do to replicate - Well they don’t sell in big games as a reason to come their club- they simply sell success.

We just tell them how good it’ll be to play in big blockbuster games and maybe just maybe win one of them.

We are Essendon - we identify as Milton in Office space

I’m willing to give him one more year.

If the bottom falls out in the second half of a third season, I’ll be wanting him turfed.

We’ve not really improved.

Probably the least painful option

Where does Gresham rank on the list of horrible recruits the last decade?

Bizarre list management decision to turf Snelling then pay Gresham about $350k more to do a worse job.

To be fair - they have been run into the ground with stuff all support from anyone else.

I’m not renewing my membership next year.

I’ll only renew when the club openly admits there are deep issues that have to be addressed.

No more wallpaper over the cracks.

I don’t think Alwyn is much chop either….

This is bullshit!

EFC does have elite skills! Just for example:

  1. Snatching defeat from the jaw of victory

  2. Breaking the hearts of its supporters

I reckon we’re worse! At least Milton got to burn down the office and escape with the big cheque. We suck so much, we couldn’t even find a match!

Don’t see the club turfing him even if next year is the same Barham and co a fully backing Brad in otherwise he wouldn’t have taken the job.
