Getting better every week. Felt like a real even performance; that was the pleasing thing.
Of course, the big question - can we actually bring it on the big day, for once?

Shiel, Hepp & Merretā¦ and Pidge, were farking awesome in the middle. Iād stack them up against anyone.
You might want to say dooper rather than doper given our historyā¦
And āShielā

Shield is a super doper woper star

agreed
Shiel was incredible.
I would have to go back to Misiti to remember such a dominant midfielder display
Edit: Jobe (of course) but very different styles
And you think Smoking Joe and Shielās styles are similar???
Probably J Johnson was the last guy we had with some burst speed.
Lol how ā ā ā ā were norf. Their fan must be ā ā ā ā ā ā off.
We were good, but funny how bad they were.
Imagine how much we would have won by if Draper played!
Perfect gameā¦ ugly conversion by both sides at times but otherwise what a game.
Hope Walla pulls up okā¦ just about the only worry right now with early reports that Dev and Zaka will be straight back in.
ANZAC day is always epic but now it is extra extra epic. Just canāt wait to see if this form holds up against one of the top teams.
Dylan Shiel, whoa yeah that wasā¦ satsfying.
Probably more of the most complete games weāve played in a decade. And Dylan Shiel
When Aaron Hall is your 2nd leading tacklerā¦
Iām sorry to be the one to say it, but Francis doesnāt get back into that backline until there is some sort of injury. None of them deserve to be replaced.
Our ball movement out of defence with Saad, McKenna, Redman and Ridley is my favourite thing to watch at the moment. Our pace and elite kicking skills are our most dangerous attribute.
And it goes without saying that Shiel, Merrett and Heppell were phenomenal also.
We are awesome and can improve! Yah Yah!!!
That was as pleasing as last week, perhaps moreso given North generally lift for us, expected a shitfight and we never game them a sniff. Well maybe early with our inaccuracy, but our play from the start we looked dominant. The pressure fantastic and everything flowed from there. Centre square group was unreal, and it will only get better the more Shiel/Merrett/Heppell play together. Bellchambers easily his best game for the season, and he will need to be just as good, if not better, against Grundy next week. Just donāt handpass when you take a mark within point-blank range OK? Backline was fantastic, not just stopping attacks but creating them. Redman was epic, such beautiful skills, his kick to Brown in the last for his 3rd goal was immaculate. Saad and McKenna electric whenever they got it. Up front we just have so many options. Walla clearly hampered but worked into the game well, got his 2 goals. Fantasia just oozes class. Heās back and I hope he kicks half a dozen on that flog Maynard and lets him know all about it!! Joey got solid game time and great to see him stick one through from long range. He will only be better for the run. Brown does what he does. Stringer shouldāve had 4-5 if his conversion was better.
In all, very pleased, and excited for Thursday. Will be a huge game, we are in good form and this is a massive test against last yearās runners-up. Win that and we earn a fair bit of credence. Statement game? Absolutely!!

I missed the edit.
Stealing my thunder!
We were great. Well and truly back in town.
Bring on next week. If we win it then itās well and truly lid off timeā¦
Ambrose to take de goey next week?
That was as good as Iāve seen our midfield in a long time. Several times we had Shiel , McGrath and Zerrett running the overlap through the middle, looked awesome. A bit untidy with some kicking at times.
A few times we opted to switch out of habit when a little more vision would have found a damaging option on the skinny side, but overall we were pretty slick. We certainly bullied them and took a toll on their missed disposals.
The forward line is potent when Raz, Stringer and Tippa are up and running. And I didnāt think Tip was quite at his best.
Parishās hands in close can be lightning fast and sublime. Rivals McGrath. Those boys extricated the footy from some very tight positions.
We can be better than that, but it was impressive as it was.
Loved the game but we wonāt get away with half the stuff we did against pies. Some poor defensive running and taking shots in the pocket when a simple setup would be the percentage play but we were up by 6 goals at the time.
