Looking increasingly likely to be stripped of the captaincy in Brisbane and also increasingly likely to leave. Tim on SEN this morning talked briefly about the possibility of him coming to the Dons if we couldn’t get OMeara.

He’s 26, a ball magnet and contested footy beast, with at least 6/7 really good years ahead.

I might be in the minority here, but for the right price, I would absolutely get him. What that right price would be will probably be the subject of some debate though…

Disagree. He is an early second rounder. The Lions are actively trying to get him out of the place because of lack of standards and repeated bust up with teammates. His value has eroded.

If pick 19 got it done, then absolutely. May take more though like the pick 8 we could get from trading 1.

Would have far more certainty about his onfield impact than JOM. And at 26 plenty of years ahead of him at a time when we should be seriously challenging.

We will be losing experienced leaders over the next few years and given he has been captain albeit with some questions over his leadership style could be valuable for us.

He’s also building himself a new home and seems settled in Brisvegas. Not sure he wants to leave but I’d love to have him at the Bombers.

Sorry but Pick 19 would be laughed at. It would take some creativity with picks (or could just add next year’s second rounder to 19) but this guy is a legitimate gun. You get him in a decent team with a strong footy club behind him and just let him play then you will see a contested beast who would dominate.

Still contracted for 1 year and Free Agent next summer. Tactically Brisbane may get more for him during free agency so it will take a bit to move him now unless he pushes for it.
