We actually do need Smack as insurance. We only have two injury prone main listed AFL experienced rucks and one is injured now.
Draper has come from nowhere (soccer and volleyball background) and will hardly be ready. Averaging only 4kicks a game, his AFL game sense is clearly not there. A years development at AFL level and proper coaching from the big Russian and he might well be working towards it though.
