Whatā€™shisface from Don The Stat was worried about our tall backline vs their forwardline. He was 100% correct and it seemingly took an injury to Ridley to force the change that helped even things up down back. I think Brad got that one badly wrong as watching McKay watch Hardwick and not lay a glove on him was ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  me to tears.

Agree, but I thought both battled away and made a contribution. They Didnā€™t getting destroyed by Meek like Grundy did

Iā€™ve been thinking about this the last few weeks.

His problem is, that he always looks under pressure (even when heā€™s not).

Heā€™s the complete opposite to Ridley who never looks under pressure.

Yeah they battled but if we are going to be paying a guy like Draper big bucks we need more

It was clear as day we needed another small back. Watson, Moore, Ginni and Hardwick kicked 10 and was the difference in the end. Redman needed to play back in the first half.

Can someone please explain to me why the bloke who has supposedly had a sensational pre season and improved his kicking was best on against the cats in the guts. Starts round 1 on the pine???

And donā€™t get me started about starting our 2nd small forward as sub.

And picking 3 X over 195cm defenderā€™s against a team that plays 1 bloke over 182cm in there forward line.

This loss is on bdb.

Whatā€™s even more frustrating is we only lost by 4 goals and half the side played terrible.
And that McGrath deliberate was a fkn disgrace

Nitpick much. A couple of poor kicks and he was blindsided by Sicily when trying to play on to get a quick forward entry so thatā€™s harsh as well. Overall a good game from him.

Yeah the Redman role was particularly stupid.

Why in the first game of the year, on the big stage and against a decent opponent play him in that position.

Are you allowed to knock the ball out of his hands like that? I know he was going to handball but he hadnā€™t actually handballed and the umpire couldnā€™t have called playing that quick?
